Tropical Shipping and Cargo Express Services host anti-corruption workshop

Tropical Shipping and Cargo Express Services held a workshop on Anti-Corruption on March 26th and 27th at their Providenciales facilities for their members of staff. The workshop’s theme was “We do not bribe anyone”.

The workshop was based on the Foreign Corrupt Practices ACT (FCPA) and included the following topics:

  • Corruption in the world
  • The laws governing anti-corruption
  • Books and Records / Internal control system
  • Penalties
  • U.S. Enforcement Actions
  • Red Flags

The training was consistent with Tropical Shipping’s mantra: RISE
